Fernvale Community Church is a non-denominational community church with roots dating back to 1849 as the South Harpeth Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The current building opened in December 2009 after the original structure was destroyed by tornadoes in 2008, with significant rebuilding support from Grace Center church in Franklin.
