Using ChurchGuide

ChurchGuide.io is a free church discovery directory. You can browse, search, save churches, and submit corrections without creating an account. An account is only required to save churches or track visits across sessions.

The site is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our data in bulk without written permission.

Church profile accuracy

Church profiles are compiled from publicly available sources, including church websites, statements of faith, and the Google Places API. We do our best to keep information accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail — service times, beliefs, contact info, or photos — is current or complete.

Churches change. Times shift, leadership changes, theological emphases evolve. Always verify service times and important details directly with the church before visiting.

Belief indicators are inferred from public statements of faith and website content. They represent our interpretation of publicly available information, not an official endorsement or certification of any church's doctrine.

User accounts

You may create an account using your email address or Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that occurs under it.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that are used to abuse the platform — for example, submitting spam corrections or fraudulent church claims.

Church owners & claiming profiles

If you represent a church, you can claim your church's profile to verify information, add service times, and post updates to your community board. To claim a profile, you must have an email address at the church's domain.

By claiming a profile, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to represent the church. You also agree not to use the community board to post promotional, misleading, or harmful content.

Claiming a profile does not allow you to remove the profile from the directory or alter belief indicators set by ChurchGuide. If you believe a belief indicator is incorrect, submit a correction and we will review it.

Prohibited use

Please don't use ChurchGuide.io to:

• ✕Submit false or misleading corrections or church suggestions
• ✕Impersonate a church or its representatives
• ✕Scrape or bulk-export the directory for commercial purposes
• ✕Attempt to manipulate church rankings or search results
• ✕Post harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful content on community boards

Limitation of liability

ChurchGuide.io is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information in the directory, including decisions about which churches to visit or join.

We are not affiliated with any church, denomination, or religious organization. Listing a church does not constitute an endorsement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChurchGuide.io and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes we will note the updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
